Entrepreneurship programs rank in top 10

WUSTL’s campus-wide entrepreneurship curriculum has been recognized as one of the best in the country by the Princeton Review survey published in Entrepreneur Magazine today. Both the undergraduate and graduate programs placed in the top 10 out of more than 2,000 schools. FULL STORY

Missouri’s tobacco use high, study finds

Missouri has one of the highest statewide smoking averages in the country, more than 23 percent. A recent report by the Center for Tobacco Policy Research finds that racial and ethnic minorities, people with lower incomes and education levels, Medicaid recipients, and the LGBT community smoke or experience secondhand smoke at a rate significantly higher than the state average.  FULL STORY

COPD drug also may help asthma patients

  • Volleyball team on a roll. The top-ranked volleyball team improved its record to 14-0, winning the DePauw University Invitational Sept. 18 and preserving its undefeated season. The Bears opened with a come-from-behind victory in a tight, five-set thriller with No. 2 Juniata College in a rematch of the 2009 NCAA Division III championship. They followed up by beating No. 13 Carthage College, 3-0, in the tournament title match.
